a little better
07/26/2008
Well Aubrey isn’t out of the woods yet but she is doing better. The PICU doctor wants her to go to surgery ASAP because as long as her tummy isn’t right she won’t get better and she will keep having these problems. We are looking at surgery early in the week as long as she gets a little better. They are trying to take her off the oscillator (vent that puts puffs of oxygen in) and on the regular vent. They are also trying to get some of the fluid out of her because she is really bloated and off the blood pressure meds. Keep the prayers coming because it’s going to be another long week.

Carrie & Matt,
So glad to hear from you. Been checking every couple of hours to hear. A lot of people are praying for you all. Hopefully things are going to move forward now.
Hope that with your mom & sister there for you, that it helps to ease some of the stress & tension that you both are going through. Even though we are all so far away, if there is anything, big or small, that we can do to help, please ask. We’ll all keep praying & wait to hear from you again.
P.S. tell your mom I love her
Love & prayers,
Aunt Pat

Hi Carrie and Matt!
We will continue to say prayers for Aubrey. I sure hope this next surgery is her last — I’m sure you’re hoping that too. She really is adorable and looks so good natured considering all she’s been through.
By reading the above comments I see that you have company! I’m so glad that Dannelle and Judy are there for you. I know how anxious Dannelle was to meet her niece! (Give Dannelle a hug for us!)
